Cookie Policy
Last updated : 14 July 2026 — working draft, final version expected end of August 2026
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on stbarthexperience.com and how you can control them.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site recognise your browser, keep you signed in or remember your preferences. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the site to work; all others require your consent.
2. Cookies we use
The Platform currently uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to operate:
- Authentication — keeps you securely signed in to your account (session cookies);
- Preferences — remembers your display currency (sbx_currency);
- Consent — records the choice you make in the cookie banner (sbx_consent, kept for six months).
3. Consent
Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent under the CNIL guidelines. We do not currently use any analytics or advertising cookies; if we introduce any, they will only be set after you give your consent through the cookie banner.
4. Third-party services
During checkout, our payment provider Stripe may set cookies that are strictly necessary for payment security and fraud prevention. Please refer to Stripe's privacy policy for details.
5. Your choices
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies through the banner shown on your first visit, and change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's cookies — the banner will then be shown again. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies; note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or booking.
